Senior Software Engineer – SharePoint

Role:   Senior Software Engineer – SharePoint

Location:   Hyderabad, India

Job profile

The successful candidate will be working as a member of the Arup’s Information Systems Group (ISG) developing applications in SharePoint based on the business requirements. This post requires the applicant to have a flexible approach with importance on team working and communication.

The selected individual will be expected to work under nominal supervision and manage their own activities on a day-to-day basis. The post holder will also work closely and have regular contact with internal clients and 3rd party suppliers of applications.

Duties of the post-holder include

• To develop, maintain and enhance a number of SharePoint 2007 and 2010 applications.
• Liaising with key members of the ISG team to establish the best approach to individual projects.
• Writing clean, efficient, original code to the ISG Team’s existing coding standards. Creating relevant documentation.

Job requirements

• Minimum of three years experience in working with SharePoint 2007 or 2010 particularly Web Parts and use of BDC.
• Expert knowledge of the .Net Framework 2.0 and above
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
